This project comprised of the complete fit out of 30,000 sq.ft. educational space which had been stripped back to Shell & Core. The floor space was divided into various educational areas for the new Da Vinci Schools of Arts & Science, including Science and Computer Labs, Art, Sound & Light workshops and studios, Dance studio, along with Maths and English Dept's.
The works comprised of the following elemental works: Structural alterations including new doorways, supports for theatre lighting. New bespoke prefinished doors to all internal openings. Plasterboard ceilings throughout with modular suspended acoustic rafts and integrated light fittings. Refinishing existing parquet flooring, along with new vinyl and carpeted floor finishes.
New bespoke automatic glazed entrance doorset with internal glazed lobby doors. New Science laboratory benching. Refurbishment and cleaning of all crittall windows and repairs and cleaning of external brickwork.
Link bridge removed, all finishes made good, brickwork, etc. Flat roofs repaired and overlaid in felt with the main tiled roof straightened out, missing tiles, replaced, etc. New w.c blocks created, including fitting out, fixtures, fittings, bespoke cubicles, hygienic wall cladding.
New mechanical and electrical services were supplied and installed to our design and coordination. This included air conditioning and ventilation systems, sprinkler services, power, lighting and data together with specialist comms room services, boiler installations, etc.
